All my Tao Holiday Retreats start at 14:00 pm on the first day and end at 12:00 Noon on the last day. Settle into holiday mode and meet your fellow travelers early, getting to know each other over lunch. Familiarize yourself with your surroundings whilst unwinding from your flight or journey. Please ensure you arrive the day before or at 14:00 pm on the day the retreat starts.
If you are joining my retreat from another tour, you will need to move to the group hotel, it is preferable that we all stay together. I have selected the following three tours as the most exceptional. I chose these three destinations because they are close to my heart. Israel is my birth place, Egypt is my home away form home, and Vietnam is a country I have grown to love and where I have chosen to live an extensive part of the year. I also know they are perfect to discover the Tao as they demonstrate the core belief from which Tao Philosophy was developed

An essential element of Taoist philosophy is the belief that energy and momentum are the sources of life and that in the universal scheme of things we human beings are tiny, insignificant and vulnerable creatures. Unless we are in harmony with life’s sources – the infinite force of nature – we cannot hope to last long. Ancient Egyptian civilization as we look back on it today, depended on the Nile momentum, which was their infinite force of nature and which created the harmony between the people and nature, and between heaven and earth and life and death. Without the Nile, Egyptian civilization would not have existed, the great pyramids would not have been built, there would not have been Ramses the great or Tutankamun, nor would we have heard of Cleopatra.

You will required to hold a valid visa to Israel and Jordan. You will not be required to provide a visa to Egypt, when we cross to Sinai.
First we journey to the heart of the Sinai Desert, to explore the ancient desert home of the prophets of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The desert is also the perfect location to discover the Tao which is in essence the pulsing spirituality that lies at the heart of all religions. In the desert the Tao’s sense of the brief and temporally insignificant nature of human life is profoundly felt by all who travel there. You then continue to Petra, ‘the red rock city‘. The Nabataean Arabs, ancient masters of the desert, carved breathtaking temples and monuments out of the multi-coloured sandstone. The stunning natural beauty epitomizes the romance of the desert - what a perfect place for Tao sessions!
Next we will move to the sacred home of the world’s three monotheistic religions - Jerusalem. The Tao is based upon the belief that energy and momentum are the sources of all life and in the holy land we will witness the energy that brings cultures together and creates intricately beautiful monuments that capture the awe that arises from contemplating the mystery of existence.
