Start with the powerful Pyramids at Giza, and the Sphinx "the King’s Guardian"...[optional excursion] to Abu Simbel - a true labour of love. This Temple of Ramses II and his beloved wife Nefertari, is the most impressive monument in Nubian, perfectly expressing the imperial ambition and audacity of the new kingdom period, then to the valley of the Kings and Queens in Lxour...visit the magnificent Mortuary temple of Hatshepsut and the Valley of the Kings and Queens, also known as ‘The Place of Truth’. The Valley was the royal cemetery that secured Egypt's Pharaohs eternal rest, thereby ensuring the deceased pharaohs a happy afterlife...and end the retreat with the visit to Egyptian Museum of Antiquities in Cairo.
